We recently made several additional updates, upgrades, and modifications to our line of powerful servers.

  • All accounts now have daily backups rather than weekly backups.
  • Upgraded all scripts and software on server to the latest stable releases.
  • Upgraded PHP to the most current stable version, see details.
  • Enhanced security and firewall settings to keep your site's safe.

Like with any shared web hosting provider, vulnerabilities always exist. The primary security concern right now is to keep your scripts, including Wordpress, up to date and current. We will be adding a new clause in our terms of service to reflect our guidelines which should also be published soon. They will outline the requirements for keeping certain popular scripts secure so that we can continue to provide the best possible service without any interruptions.

One thing to look for when using Wordpress is a bar at the top requesting you to upgrade to the latest version of Wordpress. While there may be some theme issues resulting from an upgrade, it's always important to address these immediately and perform the upgrade as soon as possible. It's a simple process that takes no longer than 15 seconds.

If you have questions or cannot figure out how to do the upgrade yourself, just open a support ticket and we'll do the upgrade for you.

Thanks for your continued business and Happy Holidays!
